Lake tramp" A large oil Painting from the Lake Waikaremoana track in the Te Uruwera National Park Sandy Bay is on the Northern Coromandel Peninsular, not far from the top end or Cape Colville. It is what can only be described as a coastal treasure with its remote location making it a favourite for holiday homes and lucky regular visitors. This is a large painting of 1000mm x 760mm with a strong focus on simplicity and a feeling of relaxation. The island in the distance is Great Barrier Island which is strongly featured in the Northern Coromandel Landscape. A small painting depicting the Old Gold Mining ruins on Bendigo Station near Cromwell and Wanakat in the South Island of New Zealand. Panakiri View, Lake Waikaremoana is a beautiful natural lake in the heart of the Uruwera National Park. The forbidding Panakiri Bluff must be climbed by trampers on the Great Lake Walk.
The Tussock country of the Central Plateau of New Zealand's North Island is depicted in this painting (1000mm x 760mm). Mt Ngauruhoe is a dormant New Zealand Volcano featured as a dominating and enhancing background to this very pleasing original painting. White Island Painting Pohutukawa East Painting A smaller painting from the slopes of Mount Ruapehu in the Central North Island of New Zealand. Depicting a fresh fall of snow on the mountains. 2005
Pohutukawa Bloom Painting
Mt Egmont or Taranaki (Maori Language) as seen from the Northern Taranaki Coastline. This coastline is featured by sheer cliffs and limestone pinnacles. The pinnacles you can see in this painting are called the 'Three Sisters'. I chose to include the outside pinnacle, for remembrance sake, as it has collapsed in recent years. This is a large feature painting at 1.8m wide by 70 cm high. Oil on Stretched Canvas with a boxed Rimu (Native Timber frame)
Deer Park View. The view of the remarkables from Deer Park Heights near Queenstown New Zealand. A famed Lord of the Rings filming location in Queenstown. This a large painting.
