New Zealand Painting. "Taranaki" Mt Egmont or Taranaki (Maori Language) as seen from the Northern Taranaki Coastline. This coastline is featured by sheer cliffs and limestone pinnacles. The pinnacles you can see in this painting are called the 'Three Sisters'. I chose to include the outside pinnacle, for remembrance sake, as it has collapsed in recent years. This is a large feature painting at 1.8m wide by 70 cm high. Oil on Stretched Canvas with a boxed Rimu (Native Timber frame)
