The paintings are presented beyond the highest standard.
All works are created on stretched acrylic canvas for lasting durability
using Rowney Artists Oils.
Final
framing presentation of all the paintings is true to theme "Oil and Rimu
Paintings".
Rimu is one the most attractive timbers in the world and its textures
and colour make it the perfect compliment to scenery oils.
Rimu is one of the giant podacarp trees of the New Zealand rain forests.
Andrew uses only recycled Rimu.
Milling new timber is no longer permitted in New Zealand and it gives
the artist great pleasure to rescue and work with this timber.
Rimu timber is as precious a resource as gold and a worthy complement
to Andrews work.
The paintings are either presented with solid Rimu frames
and slips in the traditional way or stretched canvas in the modern self-framing
presentation with a boxed Rimu frame (see below) . This makes for an interesting
and modern presentation.

available painting is presented.
