About Freelance Photographer 'Andrew Whyte' of Tauranga New Zealand

Hello,
I am Andrew Whyte and this is my wife Cathy who works
with me in our photography business. We are based in the sunny
coastal city of Tauranga, New Zealand. I am originally from
a radio broadcasting background having turned to visual media
building on my interests in photography, webdesign and paintings.
My photography work takes me all over New Zealand working
with clients on location capturing quality marketing images.
I also photograph for myself, with an interest in capturing
travel and scenery images, which I make available in my stock
library. In the New Zealand summer season we are busy photographing
weddings in the Bay of Plenty and sometimes further afield.
Cathy assists me in the weddings and we use two professional
camera systems, often at the same time. Cathy designs and
produces wonderful Queensberry wedding albums using Photojunction
software. I am one of the Photoshop geeks in our house and
I know how to get the best out of the software. Something
that is essential in today's world of professional photography.
I am an active member of the New Zealand Institute of Professional
Photography and recently gained the respected wedding qualification
by assessment from my peers. At the conference recently I
won the Bob Tulloch Scholarship to the Brooks Institute of
Photography in California next year. A period of advanced
study I am very much looking forward to. I enjoy being inspirational
through many years of public speaking and recently I released
two ebooks. One on painting landscapes and the other on digital
photography.
As a business person I am fair and professional in my work
and I feel everyone enjoys my personality and the results.
